Arsenic and Old Lace
A classic black farce by Joseph Kesselring

Set in a large Brooklyn home in 1939, it relates how the two charming and gentle old Brewster sisters poison their poor orphan lodgers to save them from the sorrows of this world. The said gentlemen are buried in the cellar by nephew Teddy Brewster who thinks he is digging the Panama Canal and is concerned about the shocking rise in malaria victims. Mortimer Brewster, another nephew, discovers the latest body and tries to have both aunts committed to avoid police involvement. The third Brewster nephew, the psychopathic Jonathan arrives with a body of his own to dispose of. The battle lines are drawn for possession of the house and the all-important cellar.
