| Wrestling at the Community Centre 8th Oct |
The superstars of wrestling returns to the Hayling Island Community Centre on Friday 8th October for more body slamming action. Your favourites like Andy Boy Simmonz, Ian Logan and James Tighe face foes such as Joel Redman, R.J. Singh and the Iron Hulk.
Scheduled to appear;
*Andy Boy Simmonz – a multi time British Champion and tag team champion, has appeared on WWE programming multiple times as well as breaking World Records on Sky One. Simmonz has appeared in the ring with former WWE champion Sheamus, Matt Hardy, and even WWE Chairman, Vince McMahon.
*Marvin Ellis – the undefeated All Counties champion, Ellis is out to carry on his domination of the Southern wrestling scene. Arrogant and brash, Ellis takes his hard hitting style to any opponent, with an incredible ring savvy. Compared by many to AJ Styles, Ellis will not give up his clean record without one heck of a fight.
*James Tighe - has endured WWE boot camps in Louisville, proved his worth against top British talent and bested TNA World Champion AJ Styles. Tighe has regularly travelled Europe and America in pursuit of top competition and has won championships around the globe. Truly a ring technician, Tighe has the track record and ability to outwrestle any opponent before him.
*R.J. Singh – “the Bollywood Dream” aims to use his wrestling success to rid himself of having to see the likes of the fans at Hayling and launch his movie career. Former FWA Flyweight champion has all the tools to match any opponent on the mat or in the air.
*Bryan Clark – this 6”4’ 18st giant has torn through any and all competition since debuting. Hated by all who attend, Clark has a move-set to fear and an attitude to match. Merciless and vicious, Clark is the embodiment of monster, showing a pace and brutality that has fans fearing for his opponent’s very life.
*Ian Logan – the self styled “Idol” of British wrestling, Logan has faced top names in wrestling, from World of Sport competitors “Superstar” Mal Sanders and Steve Grey, to WWE Superstars Tyson Kidd and Katie Lea Burchill. Logan has battled any opponent, facing any challenge, holding the British championship along the way.
*Joel Redman – winner of the Southern Counties Trophy last time out, Redman has dominated the ring this year with a long list of broken opponents in his wake. Redman will look to add yet another name to that list as his year of destruction shows no sign of slowing down.

| HIADS present Gethsemane |
Gethsemane is a new critically acclaimed satirical play by David Hare, described as probably the most consistently adventurous of any living British playwrights. First performed at the National Theatre in 2008 it drills through the concept of ‘New Labour’, sleaze, expenses, fund raising, family scandal and spin. This richly imagined ensemble play looks at the way business, media and politics are intertwined to nobody’s advantage, as, in an unforgiving world, one character after another passes through Gethsemane. (Contains sexual references)
Tickets cost £7
Show starts at 7.30pm |
