| Classic Cars and Bikes |
No doubt due to the kind weather on our Sunday meetings over the winter we have had some good turnouts of classic's at the Hayling Billy Pub. At our last meeting in February we had over 25 vehicles of which any club would welcome at this time of year.
This year seems to be full of promise with the ‘Classic calendar’ quickly filling up. Please see the notice board at our meeting for all local events.
We are an open club and provided the object of your love is mechanical and has wheels you are welcome, whether it be Veteran, Vintage, Classic, Military, Custom, Hot Rod: Truck, Tractor, Car, Motorcycle or Cycle or just something interesting on wheels you will be welcome.
Hayling legends (Classic Vehicles Club) meet on the 1st Sunday of the month throughout the winter. 11 am at The Hayling Billy, Elm Grove.

| Wildlife & Plants of Chichester Harbour |
An indoor session in the warmth and dry of the Education Room at the LIfeboat Station on Hayling, hearing about the variety of wildlife and plants that can be found in the Chichester Harbour Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Fee £2 per person on the day (£1 to RNLI) to include refreshments.
Time: 10am / 1½ hours
Meet: Education Room upstairs at the Lifeboat Station, by kind permission of the RNLI. Off Bracklesham Road (entrance gate shared with Hayling Island Sailing Club), Hayling Island. Parking next to lifeboat station. |

| Spring Show |
The First Horti Show of 2010.
Saturday 27 March at 1.30pm for disabled, 2.00 for the general public at the Community Centre, Station Road. £1 entry, accompanied children free. Hopefully, daffodils and narcissi, plus plants and flowers, photography, floral art, handicrafts, cookery and junior classes. Splendid afternoon teas with homemade cakes, plant & book stall and tombola.
I have entry forms which have to be in by Thursday. Anybody can enter open classes. |
