Hayling Island Young Actors are putting on 3 performances of this Willy Russell play. Sad, funny, humorous and true to life.
A lot of hard work has gone into this production which will be at the Station Theatre. Tickets are only £3 each so a good value time out.

| Summer Fete at Mill Rythe Infant School |
On Sunday 10th July we will be holding our annual Summer Fete at Mill Rythe Infant School. This year the theme is 'The Circus' and we hope to see lots of painted clown faces around the site.
From 1pm - 4pm
In the grounds of Mill Rythe Infant School.
Come and have a great family day out. With lots of stalls, refreshments, the Fire Service, Police and First Responders. Plus entertainment including the live band, Wendy House and Damian Jay one of the South Coasts leading children's entertainers.
Raffle prizes and much more.

The 2011 Photograhy Competition is now open.The theme is 'Inspired by Chichester Harbour Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty'. Feel free to interpret it anyway you like, including on the land, on the water or even under the water. Spend the summer clicking away and then select your three favourite photographs and email them along with your details and a short caption for each photograph explaining why it is special to you. | 2011 Raft Race Langstone |
This popular, enjoyable and colourful event keeps on growing and has been an Island favourite for many years. With rafts from the Island making up a good third of the fleet, Hayling always have a good chance of winning the event. There will be a BBQ, Fancy Dress Crew Competition, and a live band will play throughout the afternoon.
1230 onwards. Judging of fancy dress.
1300 approx Race Start.
BBQ + Live Music until 5 pm.
The event raises money for the Rocky Appeal, St Johns Ambulance & RNLI.

| Little Cockles: Cuddly Toys Picnic |
11am / 1.5 hours
A fun session for families with children up to 5 years old. Today we will be taking the harbour cuddly toys on a short beach walk and making funny faces with strandline finds. We will then have a quick look at the lifeboats before finishing with a picnic on the beach (or indoors if it is raining). Bring a picnic and a small bucket.

We are delighted to welcome the Revered Paul Ginever from St Mary’s Church – Hayling Island to share his style of Meditation.. This will be a very special uplifting yet relaxing and spiritual evening.
The Reverend Paul Ginever has been a Parish Priest within the Anglican Communion, who has served in the Parish ministry for 39 years.
Within his environment, Reverend Paul has striven to ensure that there are always spaces for quiet reflection, meditation and prayer and is always happy to share this with others!
Since arriving at St Mary’s - which is a Benedictine foundation, Reverend Paul has found the Benedictine Tradition a source of Inspiration and Hope… Reverend Paul will take this evening to share how The Rule of Benedict has helped him…

| Summer Holiday Boxing Crash Courses |
During this Summer Holidays we will be holding Boxing crash courses. The Aim of the crash course is for juniors ages 8-15 yrs to learn the art of Boxing and improve on their fitness. The courses will run Monday-Friday for 1 hour a day and will cost £10.
