Kris Kringle, a bearded old gent who is the living image of Santa Claus, serves as a last-minute replacement for the drunken Santa who was to have led Macy's Thanksgiving Parade. However, although he is popular, Kris Kringle claims to be the actual Santa Claus and despite reassurances by his doctor that he is harmless, Kris is institutionalized as insane.
Yet people begin to notice there is something special about Kris and his determination to advance the true spirit of Christmas amidst the rampant commercialism around him. A young lawyer decides to defend him by arguing in court that he is the real thing.

Churches Together on Hayling, together with Captain Stomp and the Roof Raisers and in partnership with Market Town Initiative, warmly invite you to join us in celebrating Christmas together as a Community at the Hayling Plaza at Eastoke Corner.
Together we will 'unwrap' the Christmas story once again, by singing our favourite carols. Mengham Infant School Bell Ringers will join with us in the celebrations, with song sheets for those who wish to sing along and free mulled wine and hot mince pies!
The Coastguard Cafe will be offering free chips between 3.00 - 5.00pm.
Bring a torch and folding chair and wrap up very warm.
Over four hundred people joined us last year and we had a lovely time, so do please come along. Everyone is very welcome and we would love to see YOU there!

We are having our last Group for the year this Thursday. We will be having loads of snacks and nibbles, party games. We will also be having all the toys out as usual including the baby corner. There will also be a long craft table making things for Christmas.
The group is open from 10am till 12pm. It is £2 admission for 2 children then 50p extra after that. |
