Meet up at North Common for transfer to Gutner Point, restricted access nature reserve to view the high tide roost and return to North Common for a stroll to look for migrant birds. Bring binoculars. No dogs. With Pete Potts, Senior Hampshire Ranger. Refreshments available at Northney Farm Café afterwards.

Please come and support a breast cancer charity event, 2-4pm at St Andrews Church hall, Hayling Island. There will be nail art painting, hand massages, book sale, Avon products to buy and try and cupcakes available. Please bring something pink, worth a £1 or more for the Tombola.

Co-op Charity Launch Event
A free community party on Hayling Island on Sunday 28 October, organised by The Southern
Co-operative store, will launch a £30,000 fundraising campaign
for three local charities.

Hayling Island Community Responders, Hayling Lifeboat Station and Friends of Chichester Harbour
are each set to benefit from £10,000 in the year ahead with the Community
Support Card initiative run by The Southern Co-operative’s Hayling Island
store.



1-4pm
Halloween themed community party to launch this year’s fundraising campaign. There are lots of fun activities planned, including a
magic show and balloon modelling by Buttons the Clown, Halloween fancy
dress competition, pumpkin carving competition for children, have a go at
Halloween cake-decorating, arts and crafts activities, face painting,
simple First Aid for children with Hayling Island Community Responders,
bouncy castle, barbecue, treasure hunt, live music from Blues Deluxe and
guests and a Zumba demo, as well as local food sampling from the Co-op Local Flavours range and refreshments.
The community party, is being held at Hayling Island Community Centre, Station Road, PO11 0HB.
