A Grand Christmas Fayre which will have around 30 stalls and provide an opportunity for our Local Charity Groups including Red Cross R N L I The Rowans Diabetes U K Parkinsons and others to raise funds. Come and support your local group and grab a bargain in the process.
The Grand Christmas Fayre will run from 13.00 until 16.00 at the Community Centre. |

Come and see artwork inspired by Chichester Harbour created independently or at one of our workshops during the year; also work created by pupils from local secondary schools on the Conservancy’s sponsored art days. | Children's Author at Late Night Shopping |
Sara Starbuck author of the Dread Pirate Fleur series will be in the Hayling Island Bookshop on Friday December 7th during the Late Night Shopping Festival.
On the night, children can buy the books at 25% off if they mention the secret password to Sara. The password will be on the Hayling Island Bookshop website closer to the time. Sara will be signing and dedicating all books bought in the Bookshop during the event.
This summer Sara helped to launch Reading Force, the reading scheme for Forces families and friends. At the launch on HMS Warrior Sara talked to the senior representatives of each of the Armed Forces about the importance of reading and made them all swear a solemn oath to read more books! She was subsequently invited to give a talk about her books to navy families on board HMS Diamond one of the navy’s newest vessels.
In spring 2013 Sara will be launching a new series of books published by Templar books and visitors will be able to ask her about them at the Late Night Shopping event.
Entry to this book signing is free, Sara will be with us between 5pm and 7pm.

Churches Together on Hayling & Mengham Infant School Bell Ringers warmly invite you to join us in celebrating Christmas together at the Hayling Plaza at Eastoke Corner.
Together we will 'unwrap' the Christmas story once again, by singing our favourite carols.
Free soft drinks, mulled wine and hot mince pies!
Free chips from the Coastguard Fish & Chip Shop (3.30-5.30pm)
Bring a torch and folding chair and wrap up very warm.
Over 200 people joined us last year and we had a lovely time, so do please come along.
