| Introduction to Digital Photography |
Taking photographs of nature and wildlife is a great way of documenting the changing seasons and the natural progression of green spaces. With a little knowledge of camera settings and image construction, your photographs can look amazing.
This course will provide an introduction to the skills and techniques of taking photographs.
The morning session will be spent indoors and give an overview of camera settings. This will include looking at the relationship between light sensitivity, shutter speed and apertures; the types of cameras available; lenses; and different file types such as TIFF, JPG and RAW. It will also look at image construction, by discussing the rule of thirds and subject placement when composing an image. It will additionally provide an understanding of what light sources are and how to manipulate them.
In the afternoon we will move outside, where you will have the chance to find subjects to photograph and put into practice what was discussed during the morning session, with personalised tuition.
Start at 10.00 am and finish at 4.00 pm
Venue - Spring Arts & Heritage Centre and New Lane Cemetery, Havant.
Course fee £ 80.00
Fee for The Conservation Volunteers Supporters, volunteers and Associated Groups £ 72.00
