i heard it to thought it was maroons but then thought the wind is in the wrong direction so i would not here it up this end of the island but just thought it could have been portsmouth lifeboat not a nice night to be going out.

Nah think it was overhead line hits, anyone else suffered a few mains flickers about 10mins ago, we did and I suspect it was either a tree coming down on some cables or just cables getting hit by branches etc
