Default Desktop Security 2010

Desktop Security 2010 - annoying pesky malware.

Had a; "Help, Panic! I don't know what to do!!"
"All my business letters, Accounts, Emails, photos, Itunes"
"My computer is going silly, all these pop ups, I'm stuck"!!
This from the plumber, Sin-In-Law.

I suggested a few things to try, but nothing worked.
So he dropped the PC off to me to fix.

Well I thought I'd boot up in safe mode, Administrator log on and zap!!

nope, that was no good, went all round the houses for a while!!

then thought; " I know, I'll google the problem" the solution was there
persist with deleting the annoying pop up 'bogus' virus detections to get Rkill to work.

And hey presto, he has his PC back, with a couple of 'innocent' spoofs!

And I'm owed a few hours plumbing work

All with one hand too.

I am supprised, not of your PC prowess but that that the payment doesn't include a pint!

A pint was offered, but refused in return for some plumbing work.

You seen the hourly prices a plumber charges

I can afford a pint
