The Paralympics are beginning on 29th August. Started in our country at Stoke Mandeville
Hospital. Not sure whether there will be as much TV coverage, but I'm sure they will be
very moving and make us feel just as patriotic.

Channel 4 will have good Paralympic coverage.

The GB team should do well.

Loved the poster I saw the other day for C4's Paralympic coverage, with the tag line something like.............

Have been speaking to someone who actually attended the closing whatsit, just thought I'd post their comments here

They said................ it was all far too small, they couldnt see what was going on for most of the time, the only way they could work out what was going on was by watching the big screens, ALL the singers sounded awful and out of tune.

So it looks like my observations where correct

However I then went on to ask if they thought it was worth it......their answer was

"Hell yes" they would have gladly paid twice as much and would have still enjoyed it, the atmosphere was really good apparently and they really enjoyed it, even though the show itself they felt was pretty pants.
