Default IE - seeing the bigger picture

Can anyone advise me on a text/font issue i have -

On my main IE page the font is quiet small - i like it that way - but when i load another page the text comes up really big - not massive but big enough soas i cant read the whole page.

Theres no bar to the side or bottom for me to move the page either.

I cant change my screen resolution, its at 800 x 600 and ive tried changing the screen down using the magnyfying glass and that still dont work.

Ive gone to internet option and enabled - allow script initiated windows to open without address bar and still nothing -

Any advice please? thanks

I use google chrome, quite easy to enlarge shrink pages as necessary

Though I thought you may have gone for Firefox

Downloaded it yes, but did you install Google Chrome, rather than using just the toolbar?

Yes, but did you INSTALL it? Many people tell me they download stuff but then don't actually install it.
