I have just stared my 2nd year of a 3 year foundation degree in early years education. It's partly funded and the rest is being funded by my work place, which I am extremely grateful for!!
I attend Chichester Uni, it's a tiny place but really nice

Well said Eccles, my lad is doing one of those. Jolly hard work too and he is on the course for over 30hrs a week and has no time for a job.

Most of us find it hard to train our brains to do new things especially if there are more pleasant things to do. My wife is still amazed whenever I perform mental arithmetic at three times the speed of the average person and insists that I am "very clever". No I am not that clever, it's just that being an accountant all my working life, my brain has effectively been trained to do it by many thousands of performances over the years. In whatever academic pursuit you choose to go for, you will eventually get to be quite good at it as your brain gets "trained" but it is necessary to do the hard bit first which I find too many young folk don't seem inclined to do.

I finished university about 4 years ago. I did a degree in Political Science. Now I work in a local government office. It's okay but I may move as I kind of want something a little more exciting

My first degree was Building Surveying at Salford Uni and my second was Business Studies at Portsmouth Uni,...

If only I'd finished either of em,....
