Low Flying Heli on the seafront ?

Getting reports of a low flying heli along the sea front, possible rescue one ??

The lifeboat has gone out too.

Lifeboats and helicpter directly opposite ours.

Helicopter just flown over mine, flying west, possibly returning to base.

Saw it go over, then go back - thought at first it was CG, but not so - military apparently.

It was right in front of us. Lifeboat trawled along the shore for a while while the helicopter scanned the sea. Both moving very slowly.
Headed East.

Different sound to normal CG Heli - hope everyone is safe, whatever it was.

It was a coastguard Dauphin, I think.

It was a Lynx, hubby recognised the noise before he saw it (ex navy) couldnt make out if wheels or skids = the difference between navy/army lynx. They can fly about 70mph faster than the new coastguard chopper , and being kind of shark shape they deal with this wind better
