Talking Volunteer needed to sit in bath tub

Hi, really hoping someone can help!

This Saturday (25th) we're have a 'curry sauce fund raising event' to raise money for a local 24 year old from Waterlooville who has cancer.

Having received a letter from Jamie's friend we just had to help, so outside all 3 of our locations staff are going to be sitting in bath tubs filled with curry sauce and all those that donate get to pour another pot of curry sauce in the bath for a few laughs - except at this stage we have no one to sit in the bath at our Fareham branch!

It would be great if we could get 2 volunteers that could take it in turns between the hours of about 11:30am - 7.30pm. Travel costs and as much food as you can eat will be provided!

To give you some background this is the original letter we received...

To Whom It May Concern,

I am writing to you on behalf of Jamie Whitehouse to request your help in supporting a charitable cause. Jamie is a 24 year old young man who has been afflicted with a rare form of cancer since the age of 21. Osteosarcoma is a cancer that develops in the bone and is most common in adolescents. Jamie embarked upon courses of chemotherapy and radiotherapy that unfortunately were not successful in shrinking the tumours, leading to an above the knee amputation of his right leg in 2010. Since then the cancer has spread to Jamie’s pelvis, lung and heart. In April this year his doctors confirmed that nothing further could be done to treat the cancer, declaring it terminal.

In true Jamie style, he has not been broken by this news and sought alternative methods to fight his cancer and prolong the time he has left. Jamie discovered a clinic in Malaga that advised on dietary changes aimed at stopping the growth of the cancer. He switched to this extreme diet of organic foods and various supplements, and in June was able to visit the clinic for various alternative treatments. To date, the diet has stopped the growth of his tumours. Although this is not a cure for the cancer, it is surely increasing the time he has left.

Unfortunately, this diet comes at great expense. With Jamie unable to work due to his condition, he finds himself in an impossible situation where money is concerned.

This September we are holding a fundraising event with the hope of raising enough money to give Jamie the ability to continue with his dietary needs, and to help fulfil any wishes he may have. We have been lucky enough to secure a venue, DJ, and other forms of entertainment at no cost for an evening. We are writing to you today to request your support in the form of a donation for a prize raffle to be held on the night. It could be in the form of gift certificates for products or services available at your facility. This would help to raise further cash for the cause.

Yours sincerely,

Donna Maynard

Nah, love him or loathe him, for all his many many faults he is actually quite nice
I was thinking of the opposite direction.
