Angry pesky squirral

the birds have desided to come back to our garden so got some spanky new feeders and nuts yesterday, this morning a squirral has distroyed one compleatly! this afternoon he was having a go at another one when mum spotted him, she went out and could almost touch him before he legged it, then sat on the garage roof wagging his tail, she kept popping out and only after 20mins did he diside to go!
cannot believe it he just came back, went out screaming like a banshe and he just sits there, if i had dived id have had him!!

Any tips on detering him?
im not going down the catch and kill route, and its illegal to catch and relese them, so any ideas to keep him away!!?

Maybe if we could wean our Baron von Heron on to squirrels instead of fish we could solve two problems in one hit. Now... how do you get a squirrel to dress up as a fish?
