Scarecrow Festival

Summer 2007 saw Hayling Island's first scarecrow festival, organised by the Hayling's BEST group. 76 Official scarecrows and a handful of unnofficial ones appeared around the streets of the Island in the run up to Hayling carnival, creating great fun for those following the trail and great confusion amongst a view visitors!
