Ferry

The beach at the Hayling Ferry is primarily a shingle and shell beach, facing the narrow entrance of Langstone Harbour. Due to this it is highly recommended not to swim from this beach as the currents can be immensely strong. This beach is an ideal spot for viewing the power boats and jet skis that are present during the summer weekends.

Access can be gained from here to the Sand dunes by walking south from the car park along the shore. The sand dunes are a Nature reserve and as such are protected, so please be careful not to do too much damage here and please take your litter home with you. It should also be noted that the dunes are used by naturists during the summer, so be warned if you are of a sensitive nature. Walking through the dunes will take you all the way around to West beach.
