The annual Hayling Island Scarecrow Festival starts at 9am on Saturday 31st July and runs for one week. This event attracts thousands of visitors each year who take the Scarecrow Trail to find the figures made by Islanders – it’s one of the biggest scarecrow festivals in the UK and great family fun.
This is the fourth year of this popular event in which Hayling Island residents and businesses build hundreds of figures and display them all around the Island. Visitors and Residents will once again be able to buy Scarecrow Trail Sheets from 9am on Saturday 31st for just 25p and use them to Spot The Scarecrows.
