A thriller by Hayling author, Pauline Rowson about a cover-up over the deaths of fire fighters in the UK has been published in Turkey by Babiali Kultur Yayinciligı (BKY) one of the country’s leading publishers.

Set in the local area, In Cold Daylight is a fast-paced thriller. Pauline Rowson, the wife of a former fire fighter, says, ‘After hearing about the abnormally high number of cancer sufferers from one watch, I began to wonder if it was as a result of an incident they attended some years previously. Nothing was ever proved but I decided to take this idea and turn it into a thriller.’

In Cold Daylight is the story of Adam Greene’s quest to get to the truth behind the death of his closest friend, fire-fighter Jack Bartholomew. In a cryptic message orchestrated before his untimely death, Jack has left a trail of clues that will lead Adam into a labyrinth of lies, secrets and government conspiracy.

In Cold Daylight has also been translated into Polish and Indonesian and is soon to be published in Chinese.

It is on sale in the UK from all good bookshops, including The Hayling Island Bookshop, and on line, and retails at £6.99.
