Mother of Baby Found

Police have traced a 15-year-old mother who left her baby outside an empty holiday home in Hampshire.
The teenager left the newborn boy outside the address in Hayling Island, at about 6pm on Thursday. He was discovered by a member of the public.

Police launched an urgent appeal and conducted an air and land search to find the mother. After a phone call the girl came forward and said she was the mother.A Hampshire Police spokesman said the teenager received medical attention at a police station and is in good health. The baby is being cared for at St Mary's Hospital in Portsmouth where his condition is described as "stable and healthy".
