First Responders Cheque presentation at The Maypole

Following up from the Fullers brewery(Formerly Gales)Clay pigeon shoot in September at The Maypole Pub,today (sunday 26th October)saw a return shoot for the benefit of both North & South Hayling clay pigeon clubs who gave up the opportunity to shoot at the time & instead dedicated their time to organising and ensuring the smooth running of the annual event.

After a very wet but enjoyable shoot(in which North beat South by about 25 points) everyone met up in The Maypole for drinks and a cheque presentation to the First Responders,for whom we raised £1150 this year inclusive of a hastily organised raffle today of a case of beers kindly donated by one of the club members.
The First responders reciprocated by presenting a plaque in gratitude of our continual support.
Big thanks as usual to all the teams from across the south who entered the competition & to Fullers brewery for asking both clubs & The Maypole to host the event once more.

Looking forward to hosting this event again next year.
