Record Fish caught off Hayling Island

A potentially record breaking Smoothhound has been caught off the shore of Hayling Island this weekend.

Sea fisherman Steve, who lives in Southsea caught the giant sized Smoothhound off Sandy Point on Friday 29th of May. Weighing in at 28lb 10oz the fish could potentially smash the British Shore record by more than 8lbs.
