The One Show This Friday 5th June

The popular BBC 1 programme which is on Monday -Friday at 7 pm is running a series of films about different local areas and their "Claim to Fame" - in this case Hayling being the home of windsurfing.
Some of the filming took place at Fleet Farm where Peter Chilvers first sailed his original board, but the crew also filmed further windsurfing "action" shots from the seafront area - Beachlands.

On the day of filming the crew had about four different climates thanks to our lovely weather, but at least it was windy so it should be a good advert for the sport of windsurfing on Hayling Island!
