New Police Station Opening Hours

You may recall that earlier this year I sought feedback from residents with regards to the opening times of Hayling Police Station.

This was brought about as a result of numerous requests on the Your Voice Counts leaflets asking for earlier opening times.

I have always maintained that I am open to suggestions, however with the increasing number of methods open to the public to report incidents we are unable to increase the opening hours.

I am now pleased to advise that following a number of surveys and analysis of feedback the opening hours are now going to change in January.

From Monday 4th January 2010 the opening hours will be -
Monday – Thursday 10am - 2pm
Friday 4pm - 8pm

I would again reiterate that should you attend the station outside these times wishing to speak with an officer urgently then the phone on the outside wall should be used and an officer will be asked to return to the station.
