Monthly practical conservation workdays at Sinah Common and nearby sites – enjoy a day
outdoors and help protect important coastal wildlife
Free training events – Learn to identify birds, coastal plants and animals, develop the skills to
conduct wildlife surveys, organise conservation projects and events
Events and activities programme – everyone can get involved with wildlife through guided
walks, craft activities and social events

BTCV Hayling Island Beach Wardens Project: Sinah Common Practical task programme Autumn-Winter 2010-2011
Please pre-book your place on these projects, this really helps us plan. Parking permits available if requested in advance. If you’re coming for the whole
day, please bring a packed lunch, refreshments (such as tea, coffee and biscuits) will be provided. We will also provide all the tools and equipment
needed, as well as suitable work gloves for everyone. Please come prepared for the likely weather conditions on the day and wear suitable work clothes.
We recommend sturdy boots, long sleeved tops and trousers, with a sun hat if necessary. Volunteers should be 16 or over unless otherwise stated.
