Dramatic car fire

Reports of a car fire were posted to the forum just after 4pm on Monday, warning users to the site of potential traffic problems.

We are very happy to report that no-one was hurt in the incident. The car apparently caught fire of it's own volition and the driver turned off the main road in to New Cut to minimise risk before getting out of the car.

The owner of the car sort help from the new owners of The Whitehouse B&B who alerted the fire brigade. Shortly afterwards the car exploded quite dramatically.

Damage was caused to other vehicles as well as to the B&B premesis itself.
