Steam Trains and Goods Trains for Hayling Seaside September!

Live steam tank locomotive “Emmet” returns from its recent travels for three weekends of steam hauled ‘light railway’ passenger trains, along the one mile of narrow gauge track from Beachlands station next to the Funland Amusement Park, and the attractive seaside village of Eastoke Corner via Mengham Road Halt.

Normal fares will apply for the the special steam trains which will run on the weekends of 11th/12th, 18th/19th and 25th/26th September, with the first train departing Beachlands (Funland) every 45 minutes from 11am, returning from Eastoke Corner 20 minutes later.

To add interest on the 18th & 19th September, the railway’s historic industrial diesel locomotives will be taking to the rails hauling a series of demonstration ‘goods trains’, passing the steam passenger trains at Mengham Road Halt.
