RS Feva World Championships Start this Weekend

The RS Feva 2012 World Championships kick off on Saturday 21st July until 27th July at the Hayling Island Sailing Club.


HISC has held the National Championships in previous years but 2012 is the first time the World Championships have been hosted in the UK.

Competitors and their boats have been arriving to Hayling Island all week to practice for the big event. There is expected to be around 180 boats competing.


An opening ceremony will open the event on the Saturday with Qualification races starting on the Sunday. The final races to decide the winner will be Wednesday to Friday with an awards ceremony on the Friday evening.
