Local site supports new bands

Frustrated with his own experience of trying to promote bands, Islander Ashely Keeler has launched TheSplash.co.uk to help other bands in the area.

The Splash is still a new project, but is already promoting a handful of local acts each month and has a busy music related forum.




Ashley, who runs the site as well as playing in two bands himself told us "I have owned The Splash for about four years now - but only in the last month have I really started pushing it towards its current aims - which are to help new bands."




"I have experience of how difficult it is to find help publicising your band."
