Mengham Rythe Sailing Club Burglary






<%image(20040623-home.jpg|388|241|Mengham Rythe Sailing Clubhouse)%>In the early hours of Monday morning last or perhaps late Sunday night, thieves entered Mengham Rythe Sailing Club and stole the club's safe. They carried the safe weighing a great deal all the way to Marine Walk where it was loaded into a stolen van.




The stolen van was found later minus the safe.




Police are now searching for people spending like sailors with hernias!
