First Carnival Pictures

The 2004 Hayling carnival got off to a great start this year, with a much improved procession.

The current spell of hot weather helped bring more people on to the streets, leaving most of the entire procession route lined with onlookers.

The pictures included here are a selection of those taken by Mat and those contributed by other readers. Our thanks go out to those who have sent us pictures - keep them coming.
