Hayling LifeBoat Launched

Solent Coastguard received a report that a woman was threatening suicide by entering the water close to the lifeboat station.

The lifeboats were launched and searched the waters immediately downtide from the lifeboat station towards the entrance to Chichester Harbour whilst the shore crew searched the beach.

The woman was soon found safely ashore safe and the lifeboats returned to station at 03.50.
