Travellers illegally resident on Hayling!

A report was received from Councillor Andy Lenaghan, that a group of  travellers have committed a criminal offence and  entered through a broken gate of the Nature reserve adjacent to the Esso Garage and set up a camp of around 5 living units. HBC are aware and have already taken appropiate steps to evict them, it appears it will take at least a week to remove them. So, be aware that they are there.

You have all read accounts of illegal camps and the problems they bring and leave. It would be circumspect to ensure that no opportunities for problems are there.
