ROLLOUT THE BARREL FOR THE 9th ALE-ING FEST!

Yes, it's here again - the Island's very own Real Ale Festival! It takes place on Friday and Saturday, 5th and 6th August, at the Community Centre in Hayling Park and you can get tickets at £6 each at a number of outlets on the Island: The Community Centre, Alan Rae Butchers, The Lifeboat, the Maypole, the Yew Tree and the Hayling Billy - also on the door at the night, assuming availability.

"There will be 24 barrels of real ale, plus barrels of cider, from a handpicked variety of brewers nationwide, from Cornwall to Scotland.There will be live music at all sessions, consisting of traditional Irish music on Friday evening, an akapella barbershop group on Saturday lunchtime and the Silvertones on Saturday night, as well as a barbecue on both nights, to keep you going. Any surplus proceeds will be for benefit of the local community. The ticket includes a souvenir mug, beer token and the programme. So get rolling!"
