Havant College students have achieved an impressive array of results in their Advanced Level academic and vocational courses this year. Yet again superb examination results confirmed the College’s position as the most successful Sixth Form College in the area.
But it’s not just the 16-19 year olds who can benefit from this high quality, friendly local learning environment. Havant College offers a fresh and attractive range of learning opportunities for adults too. Whether you are looking for a new skill to enter the job market, a professional course to improve your career prospects, a fitness or dance class to enjoy, IT and computer skills to master or simply fancy having fun learning something different, then the lively Autumn programme offered by the College will meet your needs.
How about a make over on a 5 week Style and Image course? Why not explore NLP, Calligraphy and Illumination, Digital Photography, Juggling for Beginners or Basic Bookkeeping? How about a language? British Sign Language, Italian, Spanish, German or French. Gain 7 steps to inner confidence, dig into an Archaeology starter course or discover more about Bach Flower Remedies? There is plenty of choice!
You can sign up for a programme that lasts all year or join a course of just 5 weeks. There are also two special Saturday sessions to dip into on 17 September and 19 November.
Courses like ECDL, CLAIT or the Diploma in Administration provide an affordable and accessible way to improve your IT or business know how for the workplace especially if you are seeking to return to the job market or enhance your skills.
NVQ courses in Management, Customer Service and Care, as well as Accounting, Payroll, Tutor and Teacher Training programmes provide the professional qualifications necessary to progress in your career whilst GSCE English and Maths, ESOL and a range of essential literacy and numeracy programmes give you the chance to brush up on your basic skills.
