Mincham escapes jail

- Mon 23rd Jan 2006

The Hayling Ex-councillor Christopher Mincham was severely reprimanded for failing  to attend the inquests of the two tenants of his, who died tragically in a fire at one of his properties.
The coroner (David Horsely) demanded that the offending properties be boarded up to prevent another tragedy occuring there.

Mincham missed being incarcerated only due to the fact that he owes a large amount on fines to the courts and they feel he will not pay if locked up.
All the fines imposed by the courts for his fly-tipping and the non removal of the sea container parked at Norfolk Crescent, have never been paid.
