Hayling Island Carnival 2006

Don't forget the Hayling Island Carnival 2006 will be on Saturday August 5th. All entertainment will be along the Seafront near Beachlands with easy access for all. The Carnival will be opened at 1.00pm by the famous children's author, Jacqueline Wilson who will then stay on to award the prizes in the Children's Fancy Dress Competition which follows immediately after the opening.

The procession starts at 4.30 from Beachlands.

1.00pm Official Opening by Jacqueline Wilson & Laura Jaggers (Carnival Princess)

1:15pm Kid's Fancy Dress Competition

1:45pm Presentation of prizes for above by Jacqueline Wilson

2:00 Shaun Winter's Marionettes

2:45 21st Century Martial Arts Groups display.

3:15 Music from "Where's Billy?"

4:00 Shaun Winter's Marionettes

4:45 Solent Dog Display Team

5:45 Kid's Races

6:00 Shaun Winter's Marionettes

6:30 Return of the floats & prize giving

7:00 Fire Eater & Kid's games and races.
