Fire at Beachlands

Hayling's volunteer fire crews are currently attending a brush fire at Beachlands.

The cause of the fire, at the SSSI site at the end of Staunton Avenue is not yet known, but these pictures demonstrate the dangers of carelessness at sites like these during dry weather.
