Another arson attack

Residents in Harold Road heard noises and raised voices about 3:30am last Sunday Morning and shortly thereafter, a loud bang was heard and a car was up in flames.

One of the watchers saw a man walking very quickly into Fishery Lane without looking back at the explosion. His description has been given to the police who attended along with the fire brigade.

The son of the family who own the blue fiesta helped move a neighbouring vehicle out of reach of the flames, injuring his arm in the process and has since been unable to attend work due to the injury - further adding to the upset and cost caused by the incident.
