Hayling Island Scarecrow Festival 2007

The Market Town Initiative (MTI) Steering Group (also known as BEST For Hayling) are proposing to launch a Scarecrow Festival for 2007 on Hayling Island.

The Festival is aiming to begin on Saturday 28th July to run for the week before the start of the Hayling Carnival. The Scarecrow Festival will be open to businesses, churches, local households, schools and anyone who wishes to create and enter a scarecrow into one of the categories to be announced.

The Steering Group hope to arrange craft workshops for those wishing to make a scarecrow who have never created one before and would like to learn.
