Day to Remember at The West Town

Thankyou to everyone for making June 3rd a day to remember...Our Jubilee Party on 3rd June was a great success, 120 children came during the afternoon for the Disco, and even though there was the odd shower everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. As did the adults in the evening with Jeff and his disco and the Silvertones and of course our very own Mick Hornsby and Ray Cottle who sang for us.


We were very pleased to ask Liam Daish to hand over cheques totalling £2000 to Cancer Research and the two hospices.


We would like to thank everyone who helped, from those who turned up at 7.30 in the morning to put up bunting and the marquee to those who managed the spit roast and the bar b queand also those who helped clear up. Special thanks to the staff who worked there socks off all day, and a very special thanks to everyone who supported us. JIMMA WOULD HAVE BEEN PROUD .
