Carnival Day

Today is carnival day, and with the Scarecrow festival help building excitement over the last few days and the sun making a welcome return, it is looking to be a good one this year.

The main event, the carnival procession, will be leaving the seafront opposite Bound Lane at around 5pm and following the route of:
* Seafront
* Eastoke Corner
* Rails Lane
* Selsmore Road
* Hollow Lane
* Beach Road
* Beachlands

Following on from the procession, the carnival fun will continue in to the evening at Beachlands.

Photos of the carnival and procession will appear on this site later today. We hope that all readers will log off for a while and go and enjoy the fun of the Carnival.
