Gypsy Vacation Over. Official Notice

The Group of Travellers have now all vacated the Gun Site on Hayling Island following the service of a Sec. 61 notice served under the Criminal Justice and Police Act.

Teams are again out checking sites at risk and we have no indication of where they may be heading. I understand that some spent the night at a car park on Portsdown Hill.

Would all officers please be vigilant regarding security on popular sites. Barriers have been damaged already at Legion Field on Hayling Island.
