Search on for Kitesurfer

Solent Coastguard and other emergency services are current conducting a search from Hayling Bay to Eastney after a kite-surfing kite was found washed up.

In the hope that the Hayling Surfcam may have accidentally captured useful information our own archives are also being scoured.

It is hoped that the kite may have just blown off and that it's owner is safe somewhere nursing a bruised pride - however this is not yet known. If anyone knows anyone kitesurfing off Hayling beach today who may have lost a kite please urge them to check in with Solent coastguard on 023 92552106 or contact us through the website.
