Police launch bi-monthly beat surgeries

Hayling Island residents are being urged to come along and meet their local police officers and councillors to discuss any policing and community issues they may have at local beat surgeries.
The beat surgeries are now being held every month in the mobile police station.
Hayling Island Safer Neighbourhood Team Sergeant Stephen Pratley said: “Following the warm welcome the mobile police station has received in Hayling Island, steps have been taken to provide bi-monthly surgeries to offer local residents the opportunity to come along and discuss any concerns they have.
“I would like the local community take advantage of this facility – it is not just about reporting crimes, it is an opportunity to discuss any police related concerns in the area.”
Beat surgeries are being held on:
Station Road, West Town - Tues, March 25, between 10am and 2pm
Beachlands Car Park (car boot sale) – Wed, March 26, between 9am and 1pm
Northney Community Hall, Northney - Thurs, Mar 26, between 10am and midday
Mengham Road, Mengham – Fri, Mar 28, between 10am and 2pm

An additional date has now been added:
Thursday 27th March 2008 Southwood Rd/Creek Rd Car Park 2pm - 4pm
