Beachlands Classics Bonanza

- Thu 27th Mar 2008

Thousands of Veteran, Vintage and Classic cars and bikes will take to the roads on Sunday 20th April 2008 on the National ‘Drive it’ day. This day is organised by the FBHVC (Federation of British Historic Vehicle Clubs) whose purpose is to encourage owners to bring their vehicles out as an ongoing campaign to raise public awareness of the historic vehicle movement and with one eye on possible future legislation restricting historic vehicles.
‘Hayling Legends’ will be supporting this event and will be meeting at 11 am at the Hayling Billy pub for a drive/ride, which will include local villages and towns. We will then meet up with other Classic Car/Bike Clubs in the Beachlands Car Park. Providing the weather is fair it is expected that there could be between 100 to 200 vehicles on display.
Next ‘Legends’ meeting 11am Sunday 6th April
Other local events: Sunday 13th April Mayor of Havant’s run
Monday 5th May Popham Rally & Autojumble
Sunday 11th May Transport Day at Beachlands
Fri-Mon 23-26th May Overlord 2008 Horndean
Sunday 6th April Goodwood Breakfast meeting (post 1980 sports Cars).

Hayling Legends’ meet at the Hayling Billy Pub every Wednesday evening (commencing 21st May 2008) throughout the summer at 7.30 pm and then the first Sunday of each month at 11 am during the winter and spring.
Just turn up with your car or bike if possible, have a beer and enjoy the company of people like you who love cars and bikes with character.
