Burglary in Webb Lane.

Police are appealing for witnesses after a house down Webb Lane was broken into and burgled.
The 52 year old returned home to find the lock on the front door broken and that the door had been forced in.
It is thought that the burglar entered the premises between 2.30pm and 2.50pm. The burglar got away with an i-pod and several items of jewellery.
The burglar left the house via a side door and out of the garden gate onto Mengham Avenue
PC Emily Dummer said: " This is an upsetting incident for the homeowners and we are keen to find
the person responsible.
" I would appeal to anyone who was in the area at the time of the burglary ad witnessed it. or saw anyone acting suspiciously in and around Webb Lane, to come forward"
