11 Bound Lane OFF the planning List !

We have received notification from the owners of the house in Bound Lane that was selected for housing development by HBC without informing the owners, see here,that it has now been removed from the list as the outcry was so great...

So, the small voices together can be heard.

Our thanks to Peter Warren for pointing it out to us and Mr and Mrs Lea's thanks to everyone who wrote, phoned and sent email via the internet, registering their dissatisfaction with the scheme.

We were told that it was the second largest complaint mailbag they had ever received (The first being the bridge railings??)

We at Haylingisland.net are immensely pleased as it shows what a good community web site can achieve and all you happy members should give yourselves a pat on the back for doing so well.

The Lea's are so pleased that they have invited everyone involved in the protest to an open day at the very address it was all about.
