Hayling Island Carnival

The 6th August will see the return of the Hayling Island Carnival to be held at Legion Field on Hayling Island. The event will include displays by Southsea Reel Club, Adam's Axemen and a Gymnastic display.
Pam from the Hayling Lions Club who are organising the event explained that there would also be ’A dog show, games and races with bands playing all afternoon.’. The event runs from 12 noon till 10.00pm, with a grand firework display at 9.30 and a funfair going on until late.
Described as ’A show for all ages’, the carnival processions starts at at 7pm from Creek Road and goes along the Seafront. Entrance tickets for the whole event are only 50p if you are under 15, or £1.50 if older. Preschool children get in free, and the event programme is free.
